Great fellowship, dedicated pastor who knows her congregation by name, and everyone is truly welcome here!
It truly is the everybody church! you feel so welcomed and loved from the moment you walk in. They have a weekly Wednesday small meal and Bible study and once a month after church a good old fashioned potluck!! so many fun things to get involved with rummage sale and fall festival and a community garden that donates produce to local food bank. a great family to belong to. and in a broken world looking to feel accepted and to belong to a loving family this is the place to go!!
St Paul is a home for all. They donāt just say it. They show it with their actions. The community garden and monthly food barrel helps the hungry. The collection of supplies for school, hygiene, and other community needs are fulfilled. Everyone is truly welcome as the meaning of THE EVERYBODY CHURCH states. Anyone looking for a closer relationship with God no matter how you grew up Worshiping or not worshiping. Even those just knowing there is something but want to have freedom to feel it are welcome. Fat, thin, short, tall, bald, long flowing hair, race, gender, whichever you identify as, anyone and everyone is welcome. The building is older but can still house more and more. DONT GET ME STARTED ON THE PEOPLEā¦ they are family! They treat everyone walking into the door like family. Not just the āHi, welcome.ā But really like family.
The first time I walked through the doors, I immediately felt an atmosphere of genuine love. Many strangers rushed to talk with me and greet me warmly. The family atmosphere I felt runs deep, true, and genuine. I had found the home I had been looking for!
St Paul United Church of Christ is a faith based congregation with welcoming arms to LGBT and non-LGBT. We are a blended congregation. This church is warm and welcoming to all. What's really nice is the participation of the congregation, in the church, no matter who you are. All churches have disgruntled members that become ex-members of their own decision. All congregations grow and shrink. This church has not lost 27 people as has been suggested, this if FAKE NEWS. Come and visit, once the "stay at home" is lifted, for a bible based sermon and warm inviting people. God Bless all and stay safe and healthy
At one point we loved the church until the new Pastor was hired. Once Pastor Dana moved into the church many things changed. She had her favorites installed & was not concerned with losing members, some 27 of us have left. The church was a family in name only. When things began to change church members forgot about the family created. A longstanding , heart of the church-deacon was asked to serve somewhere else The church became a social club for certain few & not a church, House of the Lord. The church destroyed families and caused much heartache. The pain was unbearable at times until my family & others found another church to worship. Christ is not in a place that leadership causes so much pain & relationships are so unstable. We are all very happy at Grace Presbyterian -USA. It is a true House of Worship. Welcoming all & loving all
It's a great place. it's the only open and affirming church south of San Antonio. Everyone is welcome.

Welcome one and all! The Everybody Church! Families, friends, young and old, LGBTQIA+, made to stand out, or born to fit in, the love of our Savior Jesus and our Heavenly Creator welcome you!
We have been members of St. Paul since 2000. As soon as we first entered through the doors, we immediately felt at home. While being born and raised in Texas and proud to be a Texan, we also know how conservative and closed-minded the culture can be, especially in religious circles. St. Paul is a loving, welcoming harbor where ALL are not only included but embraced.
We ❤️ our church community!! The 1st time I walked into the church I felt like I was home!! I went home and couldn't stop talking about the way I was welcomed and the feeling that came over me to my partner. The following weekend my partner joined me and felt the exact same way.
St. Paul UCC is a small but growing and welcoming church where you become part of a church family! After the service we have a coffee/cookie/fellowship time where we get to know each other even better. We invite you to worship with us!
